This is just a thought
Recovering my heart and mind
Something that was so lost
The past two weeks have been emotional torture
Change was necesessary but I never forced her
But change came one way or another
Felt like I should move on and forget what happened
A change in me that will last to the end
I know that nobody planned it
I lost something that I'll never gain again, a friend
My emotions are no longer flexible and my heart won't bend
I would never take anything back
Everything has a purpose
I'm lost in life's map
Because I know the directions are worthless
People say life's a bitch, then heartbreak's a whore
You never know what's left in store
What's left needs a clean-up but I'm in no mood for a chore
Trust me, this hurts like never before
Feeling like I wasted my time
I know I planted something in your heart and in your mind
But to bad that didn't shine
I'm not trying to be selfish but it sucks to know that you'll be fine

I know I'll get better
And damn right I'm glad I met her
Babe don't worry about it, you're not the trendsetter
But again whatever
Moving on, I got stuff to do
Looking forward, chillin with my crew
Waiting for something new
Love can wait for now
I'll just keep going around
Knowing what's up so I'll never get down
Keeping a smile so I get no frowns
