A new plate is being set for a new soul
But down on Earth he is still on hold
Many things he put to fill his spiritual hole
But nothing filled it whole
So he looked for the savior
At church with a new behavior
As he thought about accepting our Lord
He takes a step forward and one in return
For his heart is beating heavily and taking turns
For he does not know the way
To live or to burn
The brothers pray for him but he is still undecided
He searches for the truth, but can't seem to find it
A battle is surging for his spirit
It is so real that he can feel it
Church members keep praying for they know they will see it
Angels and demons fight for his liberation or his punishment
He knows that God is for the better but
Still he is tied to the world
But touched him did the Lord's word
So he says to himself
" This is probably good for my spiritual health"
No lie with his mental statement
So he accept the challenge and says his prayer
And a plate is set in heaven for him later
This is an everyday battle
We can't see them but we somehow feel them

A situation is happening in a girl's house
Something that is left for when she is a spouse
Her boyfriend can't wait
To let go of his tension and get that outta the way
But she's only 14 and she doesn't know if she has a say
But in church they showed her the pathway
That she should hold until she's married
But this situation is so carried
Chock-full of her strongest temptations
Because most of her friends already have experience in the love station
So peer pressure is a big part of this situation
But not more than in her head
She hopes to put these voices in order
An angel and a demon on both her shoulders
Her spirit is warning her
But her body says : "don't wait till you're older "
" be normal like any other "
But out comes a stronger voice from high above
Saying : " I died for this moment, I am love"
She hears that and her spirit leaps
She suddenly stops the scene
And says: " that's enough, it's almost past three"
The boy leaves angrily
And she goes to sleep stronger spiritually
She gives thanks to God for what happened and that she stayed clean
Just a week later they broke up, because as it seems, he only wanted to get between
She was sad, but later found out he carried HIV
She said to God: " how do you know what's gonna happen to me? "
The answer was simple
" Because I am the almighty"

A man leaves church and listens to a voice mail in his car
It was his best friend inviting him to a bar
He usually goes for sure, but this time is different
Because he has a new spirit
God is now in him
But the devil is not letting him go that easy
He won't let him live so happy and so cheesy
he wants to put him back in chains
As he is still parked in the rain
He begins to pray
Knowing that God is the only way
He prays for strength to reject the offer
As soon as he finished there goes another
He gets a call from his stepbrother
To head out to the club
But he knows that he has a membership to a different club
Many things pass through his mind
Angels and demons all fight above for the spirit inside
As they start to fight, the man receives a new vision, a new site
He remembers that now he can determine wrong from right
So he heads for his house knowing he did right
For he has someone to learn from
The Lord above fights for his son
Things like this take place from night to sun
Good thing to know that God has already won
